Should I say YES to everything in an interview?

I have been looking for a specific marketing role at certain types of companies. I even interviewed at 3 firms but they turn me away when they look for 10 things in my past experience & I don't have those 10 exact things. I have 7 things they want but I also have 3 other things which can help, but they are ignorant. Other friends of mine are getting jobs because they YES to everything they are asked & have read up Wikipedia to give a tiny example when probed deeper. Should I do the same? My conscience is pricking as this is not exaggeration, this is lying.
