How to stop pain from braces?

Today i got my braces, and now they hurt really badly, my pain reliever the dentist gave me, i already used. it still hurts, and its painfull even more when i chew food. anyone know any good medicenes? my mom already gave me two pain medications. helped for a hour or so and it came back. Help? it hurts really really bad! my mom wont get me anything from any drug stores, and im 11. and she doesnt give me allownence. help? i cant stand the pain!!!
