Something suspicious is going on I think?

What could this be : i found in my husband's car a plastic shopping bag with a bath towel, a pair of board shorts, a tshirt (both clothing items are old and daggy). The bag was behind the front seat and covered over with his work jacket. He is a foreman on building sites. He works 10-12hr days. He is not a member of a gym. He does not go swimming at lunch. Yes, we live near the beach, but the boardshorts were not nice ones and the towel is obviously a bath towel not a beach towel. Why would he have these? My brain jumps straight to ... but, but, hmmmm.... thoughts please.
