Where is this monologue from?

there are some sites that will post monologues that people wrote without the intention of putting it in a play. But most directors require you to pick monologues out from a published play. So I would say, ask your director what his or her specific requirements for the monologue are. If you are in high school I think this should be fine, but if you are in College or beyond, I would say stick to the published works :)
