Well obviously the car holds a sentimental value so maybe check a few things now I see you ruled out the starter but you mentioned the car does nothing? Well did you try taping on the starter itself with a hammer while trying to start the car? No-noise doesn't mean the starter is good. If you had no fuel or spark the engine would still turn over like it wanted to start you need to check the battery with a volt meter make sure it has at least 10.5 volts this is the minimum required to start a car I would believe its the starter try charging the battery up too you've been cranking on it for awhile so you may have drained it down too start with a good battery then try the starter you can take it out and have it tested at a parts store.

Possible early menopause?

This is a little personal, but I'm hoping someone may have some insight that will help me. I was wondering if anyone has been through early menopause and would know what it's like. I'm asking because my periods, although I do have them monthly and pretty regularly, are out of control. I go through a tampon an hour and have HUGE blood clots. I even have to get up and change my tampon during the night because if I don't I will end up with a trail of blood that leads from my bed to my bathroom in the morning! I have recently been having trouble sleeping. It takes me forever to fall asleep, and then I wake up several times during the night. Sometimes I wake up sweating, sometimes I wake up freezing. I have never been like this before. I have been getting migraines and very sensitive to light. I have been to several doctors, and they all tell me there is nothing wrong, but I know my body, and this just isn't right. One doctor even told me if I lost a little weight and got closer to my "ideal" wieght that it would stop. I know that alot of this was probably a little TMI for some, but any (educated) info or advice you may have is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

This is a strange situation?

I have a strange situation that I have been scratching my head about. When I started college a couple of years ago I met and befriended a guy who went to school with me. He was a heavy set guy who was at least 7 years older than me. We were not terribly close but would often talk and catch up for a little while. Before he left for college he would sometimes get a little to close for comfort giving me big hugs and keep me updated about personal details in his life. He started dating a girl online who lives in North Carolina while he lives in New York. I've often wondered is it maybe because he is lonely. I don't mind the friendship but sometimes it would unnerve me. A year ago I met the love of my life and am now engaged. The strange situation is that when my friend left for college he of course kept in touch which is fine but he continued giving me full details on the courses he was taking, what time they took place, and the like. I don't mind emails every once in awhile but now he wants me to meet him for lunch because he is on break from college. I told him I don't mind meeting him for lunch and that I didn't feel right about doing that alone because I am engaged. My fiance didn't have any problem with it because he trusts me. He knows I would never do anything. I am the one uncomfortable hanging out with another guy without my fiance being there. To me it just feels improper. My friend suggested me bringing him along to have lunch and catch up. I still feel weird though. What do you think of this situation? Is there more to this guy than just friendship. I think he is a wonderful person but something just feels off and always has whenever I hang out with him. Does he seem lonely?

My lazy neighbors don't put their garbage cans behind their fence. When you look at my house, you see a nice but small front yard and their garbage cans. Fencing for my yard is not covenant approved, so I would like to plant something that will screen the garbage cans from view. But since your going to have to restore your pc with it's original components, you should buy a portable CD drive, or anything else portable you need, like a USB port, or Floppy disk drive. I have both OS in my Mini Acer Laptop. I have Kubuntu Linux, and Windows 7. I installed Linux using a USB Stick by converting Linux using Unetbootin. I had to Dual boot it by pressing F12.

Easy Call here. RBs generally get you more points week in and week out than WRs. Steven Jackson, Willie Parker, Braylon Edwards, and Calvin Johnson are easy choices. The toss up for me would be Ricky Williams or Anthony Gonzales. Ricky Williams has looked great in preseason and they're playing a subpar Jets defense. Anthony Gonzalez looked really good last year in the playoffs and became one of Manning's favorite target. They're also going to face a Bears defense which looked awful in preseason. (That's really hard for me to say as a Bears fan) So personally I'd go with Ricky Williams over Anthony Gonzalez just because he'll get more touches than #3 Indy WR that is Anthony Gonzalez.

OK I fell and hit my leg on the bed frame (its metal) a good 4 months ago... I was pregnant at the time and it swelled up with a big knot and a big bruise, it is about 3 inches above my ankle.. My 1 month old choked on nothing why ?

Just tonight I was sitting on the couch talking to my partner after he got off from work and the baby was in her little chair with her pacifier all of a sudden her eyes went big and it seemed as if she was choking or she couldn't breath. The first thing I thought was the pacifier had fallen apart so I took the pacifier out of her mouth picked her up and starting patting her back but I was so terrified my partner had to take her. She was like this for about 5-10 seconds (although it felt like an eternity) after she finally caught her breath it seemed as if she had a sore throat and she had to catch her breath every 30 seconds or so. She seems fine now but I would really like to know what this is and what can I do if it happens again because I do have a tendancy to panic. And when I panic I can't do anything. But maybe if I knew what to do I wouldn't be so scared. And also earlier today when she was in her chair when she was awake she jumped as if something had scared her but there were no noises or movements to scare her and she arches her back while lying down alot. I am so scared and I am so afraid to go to sleep and leave her alone I am afraid if someone isn't there something will happen I am still shaking and I really don't want this to happen again. Thanx

Right now my mental state is quite unstable. I pretty much do not enjoy any thing these days. I typically hate failure. If I fail at something the first time I try it, I don't do it again. I've been talking to a counselor and we found out I define myself by how others see me and not how I see myself. I typically don't do things just for myself, and if I do, I feel it's a form of weakness. I've been able to get this far in life, and I have competitive grades, but now I'm getting to the point where I can't just get by without actually learning and understanding. I want to be different, but I am not motivated to succeed because I can't find reason to. I've always felt that I'm a worthless person, and many people throughout my past have reinforced it. Right now I feel I a worthless and weak person. I am not motivated in school. I am currently somehow a junior in engineering, and I really don't know if I am going to make it. I've considered changing majors, but because my major is quite hard, I would feel like I'm failing and being weak by switching. my mother is in denial about a lot of things; one of them being my father-whom I have never met. That sucks. But you do know that Lupron only temporarily induces menopause, right? So you just have this chemical menopause for a few months? I ume so, but you didn't specify so I wanted to make sure. Did the doc explain why and how Lupron is used to treat endo? See, by giving Lupron, they hope to starve out the endometrial implants so that they die and don't grow back. That's why they just give them for a short while. But often they precede Lupron with surgery to remove the implants that you have to increase chances that they will be gone forever. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that that works all that well. I think it's wise to get another opinion--there are docs out there who are very knowledgable about endo who you can consult. I wish I had your confidence in standing up to an doc when I was 20! See if you can find an endo expert. And join some endo support groups on the web. Good luck!

do you mean books that are based on history and are mysterious? Or do you mean books that are about uncovering the mysteries of God? (Which I don't think the davinci code did, it plainly said it had a lot of speculation in it). Have you read God's Fingerprint, or God's Signature? Both of these are based on the idea that the Bible has some hidden meaning in it. They are a little far fetched though, skipping every 36th letter and moving about in any direction. This girl that I had thought was my friend has been gossiping badly about me. Her mom gossips too so it might just be hereditary, but it still bugs me. 2 downstairs radiators not heating up, though all others are getting very hot.?

So I need some help. Anything will be appreciated. I'm looking to lose a few pounds. Mostly around the waist but I already know you can't exactly pin point where to lose wight. I'm 5'7 and about 140. I'm 15 and a girl. I just need some tips on maybe small things I can do to cut back on calories and maybe burn some. I'm in athletics at my school and that helps and I usually run a mile or so a day. Anything I else I can do? I'm looking to weigh maybe somewhere between 125-130 and hopefully by this summer!

Can I lose weight on a 100 carbohydrate diet?

So for starters, I'm 6'5 and 270 pounds. I have been down to as low as 225 but am gaining again. My friend did some research and found out the health benefits to eating a high protein high fat diet. He is much smaller than I, but has lost 35 pounds this year. He limits his carbs to 20 a day, which is pretty standard for that diet. He's been trying to convince me to do it, and I finally decided it was a good idea after watching the movie Fathead (a little amateur but highly recommended). I'm wondering if i throw in the occasional breaded chicken or potato, limiting to about 50-100 carbs a day, would I still lose weight? Would I still have to count calories or could I still treat it like the atkins diet (ie eat as much fat as I want and only limit carbs)? I've done the atkins diet before, but it's hard to stick to for long periods. I try and exercise with Basketball, Frisbee and Badminton 2-6 times a week depending on the weather. My metabolism is extremely regular and fast working, since I am 22 years old. I also take Attention Deficit Disorder medication, which has the side effect of increased metabolism and hunger suppression, which has always helped when I've decided to diet. The Bears and Steelers have offensive line problems and it remains to be seen if Sanchez and Cutler can continue to play at the current level or revert to turnovers. The Packers have enough defense to pressure Cutler and he doesn't react well to that. I think the Packers and Steelers will make it to the superbowl and I'd like to see the Packers win, but think the Steelers are more likely. The Dark Knight(Ending...)?

I don't know why I haven't posted this up earlier. i.e. the day the movie came out. But here it is, first of all, this gotta be the best movie ever made, in my opinion. I mean there are the clics like The Godfather, On The Waterfront, and Pulp Fiction(which i actually believe is the best movie ever.) but the reason i gave it to Batman is because the previous films, have been nothing less than trashy. The first 2 with Michael Keaton were okay, then they messed it all up with Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin. But still none of em were dark natured like Nolan's, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. But now onto the ending...lol... yea the ending was the best, so much sense into it, and it wasn't even confusing. Usually great endings are the one that make people think and confused. This one didn't make anyone confused, or think past what they saw happened. Which was great screenwriting. That, along with Heath Ledger's acting, is what made The Dark Knight such a critical success. Please people out there, name me a few movies that had amazing endings, so i can have a list to debate.

Help! how to settle 5 week old?

My son is 5 weeks old and feed. He's very healthy and has been gaining weight, 300grams per week but that has now settled down to 200grams. Some days and nights though he can not be settled. He whinges for hours on end and will only sleep for 10-30 minutes at a time and then try to feed, usually for only 10 minutes. I've tried other ways of settling him but what works one day doesn't the next. He sucks his fist a lot during these periods and at first a pacifier settled him but he no longer likes it. Being in the pram, going for drives in the car and soothing music are not working. I'm at my wits end and am exhausted as he's worse at night. How can i get him to sleep for longer periods and not want to constanlty feed? He has several "proper feeds" throughout the day where he feeds for up to an hour and is content but sttill has hours of wanting to feed every 10 minutes.

Should I major in zoology or wildlife biology? What's the difference between the two majors?

Ok, so I'm looking into colleges, and I'm stuck between 2 majors before I make my final decisions. It's either gonna be zoology, or wildlife biology. There's just one problem though, I don't know what the heck is the difference between the two. When I start my career, I wanna work up close and personal with animals. But not pets, like dogs, cats, and whatever else. I mean wild animals, big ones! He is a zebra finch and his right leg is really really weird! It's all swollen and deformed and a weird dark color. My mom said he probably got cut and he will get better on his own. For my daughter's Halloween costumes...?

So I've decided to reuse last year's costumes in hopes of saving a little money. They both don't want to be fairy pixies this year, they want to be something more gory...vampires, witches etc. So I told them they could wear their pixie costumes but I would make their faces bloody and scary with make-up and they could go as dead pixies instead. Easiest way is by using one of the machines in underground ticket offices. They're very easy to use and have good clear instructions. You can top up online, but I think you have to register the card online and set up an account which is a bit fiddly. Maybe worth it if you're visiting often though.

Well you could actually just do the work and stop doing nothing. My ex used to suffer from depression and never wanted to do anything, but you need to realize that school is important and you need to get it done. Just go do your work, take a 5-10 minute break when you need it, and just finish your work. Your taking the time to write about how you have work, take this time to just go do it and stop lying around. Do you really think your depression is going to get better with your grades bombing? Ultimately you are the one in control of your life, stop doing nothing and go do something worthwhile that will help you.
